TeamSuper
I’ve been busy working on the Team Super website. My brother, working as a middle man for them, gave me some cash to do their website. Considering the amount (very little), I am taking my time and learning about other Content Management Systems (CMSs).
I considered many different CMSs the job, even thought about building my own. I looked at the php-nuke and clones of it, Typo3, and even EzPublish. These seemed to be decent, but they lacked some things. Each had their good points, but lacked in areas such as community, features, templating ability, etc. None of these suited my needs. Then I found Mambo.
Mambo has it all: easy to install, easy to configure, easy develope for, easy to template, and has an extensive community and many modules available for it. I’m even thinking about redesigning this site in Mambo, though to keep the XHTML compatible markup I’d have to hack the hell out of it :)
TeamSuper site is now all but done. All that’s needed is the setup and theme their shop and do a few more styles. Well, they also have to add the content, but that’s their job.
