Long Tuesday

April 26, 2007 at 12:26 am

It was the beginning of a long, rainy Tuesday. I had to leave town a half hour after a special meeting with the mayor. The small town hadn’t been the guest of a foreigner in days and the mayor wanted me to carry a message for him. Dirty work, but someone’s always destined to be the bitch. Read on…

When someone is in as deep a sleep as Ral, it’s only proper to knock first, otherwise you might see the true beast in the person. Unfortunately for Ral, this party didn’t knock nor fear any man’s fury. Read on…

TFC: Too Calm

November 24, 2005 at 4:22 pm

Raleigh touched the button that appeared on the dim red screen in front of him and watched the massive chunk of space rock being pulled toward him; or perhaps he was being pulled toward it? He never could tell. Either way, the rock was certain to pay off nicely down at the Coop. Read on…

Tuulen: the Decision

August 7, 2004 at 12:34 am

The twilight outside and burning lamps inside cast eery shadows on the walls of the small dining room where a middle aged man occupied one of the modest chairs surrounding a dining table stacked with food. The sun had just set at his back and the day was rapidly transforming into night.
