nmyworld 2.0

This update marks the beginning of lots of changes. I am trying to write more lyrics, music, fact, and fiction lately. So to coincide with a few feature additions I redesigned the site in a major way. I grew tired of the boring old design I had and decided to go colorful. Read on…

The Developer, No More

June 7, 2005 at 3:48 am

I have decided to halt all development for Miniblog and Elegant Category Invisibility. I have no more interest in software development or support anymore. My apologies to those who need help, but I just have no will to mess around with all of the available configurations available; as you can tell, it’s often times overwhelmingly frustrating. If anyone would like to take over development of said projects, please do so. Leave a comment, letting me know, because the plugins are licensed under the creative commons license (that, and I don’t really care - I wrote them out of boredom and for fun).

Almost as quick as it came it ended. Oh well! Nothing lasts forever. Now that I’m done house sitting I’ll be able and willing to write or refine more often.

Another day - month - gone!

Howdy ho! I’ve been messing around in WorldBuilder for a while and have been getting the hang of it. Hopefully I can start making some decent scenes some day. I’m also planning to redesign the site one of these days and incorporate some of the things from WB into the design. I’ve already gotten a few (the tree and outline of the mountains - with help from Photoshop, admittably), but I want to make the site a full page with more emphasis on nature, guitar, and fantasy… I’m up to the task.

I’ve started work on the manuscript and have finished the first part. I’m going to be reading some during the process of my writing just so I can find out how other authors do various things such as introducing new scenes, people, places, etc. I’ll post the full chapter when I complete it, but I can’t give any certain date.

Well, my laptop got here! Yay..it’s like 3.2 pounds (feels lighter, though, so I could be wrong) and is a little smaller and a sheet of 8.5×11 paper. It’s a great notebook, built-in wireless and all. But enough of that sales pitch crapola, down to why I’m even writing more than what I just wrote. Read on…

As I may have mentioned earlier, my laptop has been shipped and is on a truck somewhere between here and New Jersey. When I finally get it, I will start work on the story.
