Phony Loyalties

November 10, 2008 at 11:33 am

This is a letter to the Arkansas Traveler I wrote concerning the homophobia of Proposed Initiative Act No. 1 that was passed by a 57% majority in 2008. It disallows non-married couples (heterosexual and homosexual) from adopting children. Given the surplus of orphaned children in the state, the initiatives true motives are easy to spot. Also included is commentary on the shallowness of many Obama supporters. Read on…

The MPAA is Lying? No way!

July 8, 2008 at 11:03 pm

First, I need to point out that I find it illogical and incorrect to assume that if revenues do not match last years’, then you have “lost” money. I find it further incorrect to blame these “lost revenues” on something that has changed the world only for good, the Internet. It seems more the MPAA’s lack of will, ability, or foresight to adapt to new technology rather than these so-called pirates raining on their cash parade (complete with floats made entirely of Mike Meyer’s dignity and Frank Darabont’s Indiana Jones script). Hitman: Perpetuating the Mediocrity

November 26, 2007 at 1:56 am

I recently saw this abysmal film. The dialog was atrocious and unbelievable, the pace was sloppy and never should have allowed the film past test audiences, and the plot was convoluted and difficult to follow — not to mention entirely forgettable. On the Nature of Politics (Rights and Wrongs)

February 13, 2006 at 1:24 am

There was a time in my younger and more brash years when I decided that I should take up a cause. Something worth while that could get me noticed or help me fill a void in my life occupied by video games or lounging. Nothing too flashy, though. I was (and still am) a shy boy. But that didn’t stop me from wanting to do something more with my life. Read on…

The Friedman Chronicles: Prologue

November 22, 2005 at 11:51 am

My latest project, entitled “The Friedman Chronicles,” is my first try at Sci-Fi. I intend it to be a work that will help improve my writing and come in nothing more than a series-like approach. Now, for a rant. Read on…

April Fool’s: Overdone

April 1, 2005 at 1:43 pm

Happy April 1st. If you didn’t know, today is April Fool’s Day and the jokers are out. Before noon jokes were perpetrated by evil doer and best friend alike. The hilarity was supposed to cease once noon rolled around, but, thanks to the internet, the unfunny, or just the apathetic, the tradition of ending the shenanigans when the sun is high has stopped.

Darkfall. Why follow it?

May 28, 2004 at 3:22 pm

It may not be obvious at first as to why I’m following this low-budget game out of Greece. As seen in the screenshots, the game doesn’t have supersexy state-of-the-art graphics (even though very good for an MMO), a previous name to ride on (Lineage/Everquest), or world famous developers. So what do I, a die-hard PvPer, see in such a game?
