The Day I Fought the Shadows

This is one of my favorites. I wrote this entire song one night when I was experimenting with capoing on a few select strings rather than all of them. I really like how this turned out. It was about to be added to Power-Tabs.net before they shut down (and haven’t been up since). Read on…

She Fails

This is one of my favorite tabs. If you like Jacqueline by Franz Ferdinand, this one may be to your liking as well. It’s about Alia from the Dune novels, but I won’t ruin it for you. I’m not even done with the lyrics, yet, but if you’ve read through Children of Dune, you can probably figure out what it’s about. New: lyrics added. Read on…

This song is about someone who works too hard and is missing out on the things that are important. I have a friend like this and I’m sure many others do, as well. ‘Untitled’ Added to Powertabs.net

After about 2 weeks of waiting and only one needed correction, PowerTabs.net has added my (currently) Untitled song! So far, the ratings aren’t too bad (considering it’s the first song of mine I ever finished). It didn’t take them too long - it took them (and me) almost a year to accept and help me correct all mistakes in the first actual tab I completed (Oasis - Sad Song).

This is a piece that I’ve not titled yet. It’s been in the works since last year but I finally found the finishing touches today. I don’t have any lyrics or even a title for it yet, but I hope to get around to it eventually and update this post. It’s a slow acoustic piece with no bass or drums meant to be similar to Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” or Oasis’ “Magic Pie.” It’s played with a capo on the 4th fret to add to the pitch and overall drama value.
